My recipe for Green Smoothies


  • 2 handfuls of Kale
  • 2 handfuls spinach
  • 1/3 cucumber
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1 lime
  • 1/4 lemon
  • 1 clementine
  • 1 small cup of water

Throw all the ingredients into a blender, switch on high and leave to do it’s thing for a few minutes. Kale is quite fibrous so you will end up with a smoothie that needs a little chewing but nonetheless in delicious!

Some alternative options

  • Add courgette instead of cucumber for a creamier taste
  • Add Chia seeds
  • Use any variety of veggies that you have available / like
  • Add pineapple, cayenne pepper and ginger for a fabulous cold remedy
  • Add mint for a refreshing summer smoothie

Then just enjoy the benefits of a healthy, quick, filling snack…….
